Leadership Transition and Strategic Steps of the Informatics Study Program Towards Excellent Accreditation

The Informatics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a strategic coordination meeting on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, at the 1st Floor of the FMIPA Building. This meeting also marked the leadership transition from Dr. Ir. I Ketut Gede Suhartana, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM., ASEAN.Eng. to Dr. I Made Widiartha, S.Si., M.Kom. as the new Study Program Coordinator (KPS). The main focus of this meeting was the presentation of the annual work plan and strengthening the team's work scheme to accelerate the completion of accreditation documents to improve the quality of academic and institutional services. The entire academic community expressed its deep appreciation for Dr. Suhartana's dedication during his tenure and welcomed the new optimism under Dr. Widiartha's leadership.

In the meeting, the big target was emphasized to achieve the Excellent Accreditation predicate for five years with a document submission schedule to LAM INFOKOM planned for April 2026. Strategic steps to be taken include the launch of a new curriculum in August, optimizing the achievement of IKU through strengthening tracer studies and off-campus student activities (MBKM), as well as adjusting the timeline for Final Assignments (TA) and PKL to accelerate the student graduation period. In addition, the study program is committed to increasing student creativity through organizing an "Informatics Expo" and providing a budget for competition achievement assistance, while requiring each lecturer to compile an OBE-based assessment portfolio to support accreditation data.
