Informatics Teaches

Teaching Informatics 2026 is a community service program organized by Informatics students as a way to contribute to introducing technology and informatics to elementary school students through interactive, educational, and fun activities. This program aims to foster interest in learning and improve students' basic understanding of technology from an early age.

The first series of Teaching Informatics 2026 took place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Pemecutan 10 Public Elementary School. This activity served as an initial step to build rapport with the students, while also introducing them to Teaching Informatics and providing a basic understanding of technology and informatics as they relate to everyday life. The material was presented in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, encouraging students to participate enthusiastically.

In addition to the introductory session, the program also included various educational games that encouraged active student participation, as well as a Scratch demo as an introduction to the world of visual programming. Through this first series, it is hoped that students will have a fun learning experience, foster a curiosity about technology, and be better prepared for future Teaching Informatics 2026 activities.
