The 4th Guest Lecture from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University: Exploring the Challenges of Software Engineering 2.0 in the AI ??Era
The Informatics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University held its fourth "Guest Lecture" on Friday, June 05, 2026, at Computer Lab 2, 3rd Floor of the FMIPA Dean Building, Jimbaran. The event featured I Wayan Widarma Putra Pramana, a Software Developer at PT. Djingga Media Teknokreatif, as the keynote speaker to present an innovative topic titled "Software Engineering 2.0: Mengubah Cara Kita Menulis Kode dan Membangun Aplikasi di Era AI". Officially opened with a speech by the Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, I Made Widiartha, the session aimed to provide the academic community with insights into modern software engineering practices and the growing role of artificial intelligence in application development.
A total of 44 students registered to participate in the guest lecture. The program, which ran from 09:00 to 11:10 WITA, included a 60-minute presentation followed by an interactive 15-minute discussion session to deepen participants' understanding of AI-driven development practices and their applications in real-world software engineering. Through this session, participants were expected to gain broader insights into how artificial intelligence is transforming the way developers write code, build applications, and approach software engineering in the modern era.
