The Undergraduate Informatics Study Program, FMIPA Udayana University, Undergoes the LAM INFOKOM Field Assessment
The Undergraduate Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, conducted a Field Assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Informatics and Computer Science (LAM INFOKOM) on Friday–Saturday, July 17–18, 2026.
The field assessment was conducted by two LAM INFOKOM assessors: Prof. Drs. Heru Suhartanto, M.Sc., Ph.D., and Dr. Ir. Deni Mahdiana, S.Kom., M.M., M.Kom. The assessor team was welcomed by Udayana University leaders, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program administrators, lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, graduate users, and various related units.
The first day's activities began with an opening ceremony, singing the Indonesian national anthem, a prayer, introductions, and the signing of the field assessment statement. The assessment team then inspected the lecture halls, lecturers' offices, laboratories, and various facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process in the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program.
In addition to the facility review, the assessment team conducted parallel interviews with lecturers, administrative staff, and students. These interviews aimed to obtain direct information regarding the implementation of education, academic services, human resource management, student activities, and the study program's support for student learning.
The activity continued with a discussion and verification of documents covering criteria for governance and management, students, human resources, finance, facilities and infrastructure, education, research, community service, Tridharma outcomes, and study program supplements. The assessment team also clarified the data and information contained in the Self-Evaluation Report and the Study Program Performance Report.
On the second day, the assessment team conducted interviews with alumni and graduate users. This activity is crucial for gaining insight into the relevance of graduate competencies, the quality of graduates in the workforce, and the contribution of the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program to meeting the needs of society and industry.
The field assessment series concluded with the submission and review of draft minutes, the signing of the field assessment minutes, and the provision of feedback and coaching suggestions from the assessment team to the leadership of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) and the management of the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program.
The implementation of this field assessment is part of the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program's efforts to maintain and continuously improve the quality of higher education. Through this activity, the study program is expected to obtain constructive input to strengthen governance, enhance the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and produce competent, adaptive graduates who are able to compete at the national and international levels.
