About the MBKM Committee
The MBKM Committee of the Informatics Study Program assists the study program in managing learning activities outside the study program or outside the university through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka scheme. This committee supports students in participating in MBKM activities that are relevant to the field of Informatics, aligned with learning outcomes, and eligible to be converted into academic credits in accordance with applicable academic regulations.
Responsible for assisting the management of MBKM activities in the Informatics Study Program, including the registration process, review of field suitability, and student credit conversion.
Role of the MBKM Committee
The MBKM Committee serves as a liaison between students, the study program, academic supervisors, and MBKM activity providers. The committee helps ensure that the activities selected by students are relevant to the field of Informatics and support the achievement of graduate competencies.
In addition, the MBKM Committee provides guidance regarding registration mechanisms, document requirements, activity selection, and the conversion of MBKM activities into courses or academic credits in accordance with the curriculum of the Informatics Study Program.

General Flow of MBKM Application
The application for MBKM activities is carried out through several stages to ensure that the selected activities are aligned with the field of study, academic regulations, and credit conversion plan.
Field Suitability and Credit Conversion
One of the main roles of the MBKM Committee is to ensure that the activities followed by students are related to the field of Informatics and support the achievement of graduate learning outcomes. Field suitability serves as the basis for determining the courses or number of credits that can be converted.
The credit conversion process considers the type of activity, duration, activity outputs, supporting documents, assessment from partners or organizers, and alignment with the curriculum of the Informatics Study Program.
