About the Study Program Counselor
The Counselor of the Informatics Study Program is a lecturer who assists students in dealing with various challenges that may affect the continuity of their studies, including academic issues, self-adjustment, learning motivation, communication, and other non-academic matters. The counselor provides initial assistance through an empathetic and open approach while maintaining student comfort.
Responsible for providing initial assistance, guidance, and direction to students of the Informatics Study Program who need consultation related to academic or non-academic difficulties.
Role of the Study Program Counselor
The Study Program Counselor serves as a companion for students in understanding the problems they face, identifying possible solutions, and determining appropriate follow-up steps. This role is important in helping students continue their studies in a more stable and well-directed manner.
In practice, the counselor may also direct students to counseling services at the faculty or university level, or to other relevant units, if the problems they face require further assistance.
