About the PKL Committee
Field Work Practice, or PKL, is an academic activity that provides students with the opportunity to gain direct experience in the workplace, industry, institutions, organizations, or partners relevant to the field of Informatics. The PKL Committee assists the Informatics Study Program in managing the implementation of PKL so that it is conducted in an orderly, well-directed, documented, and academically compliant manner.
Responsible for coordinating the implementation of student Field Work Practice in the Informatics Study Program, including administration, supervision, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of PKL activities.
Role of the PKL Committee
The PKL Committee serves as the coordinator and facilitator of PKL implementation at the study program level. This committee assists students in understanding the procedures, requirements, and stages of PKL implementation, while ensuring that PKL activities are aligned with learning outcomes and the field of Informatics.
Through coordination with supervisors, students, and PKL host institutions, the PKL Committee supports the creation of a work-based learning experience that is relevant, measurable, and beneficial for the development of student competencies.
