2026 National Informatics Webinar

The 2026 National Informatics Webinar was successfully held online via Zoom on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Organized by the Informatics Student Association (HIMAIF) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, the event raised the theme "The Art of Prompting: Mastering AI Communication in the Digital Era."

Approximately 360 participants from various provinces across Indonesia attended the event. Also in attendance were lecturers in the Informatics field, the Head of the Student Organization within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University, and the Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, Dr. I Made Widiartha, S.Si., M.Kom. The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D.

The webinar featured two speakers: Steven Lesmana, an AI Educator & Founder, and Wasawho, a Mobile Developer, Content Creator, and Streamer with a background in Computer Science. Both shared insights on the use of AI, prompting techniques, digital technology, programming, and career development in the tech industry.

Through this activity, participants gained an understanding of how to create effective prompts for various needs, both academic and daily productivity. The series of activities proceeded well and received active enthusiasm from the participants.

Through the 2026 National Informatics Webinar, the Student Association of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (HIMAIF) of Udayana University contributed to broadening the horizons of students and the public regarding the development of Artificial Intelligence and encouraging the effective and responsible use of technology in the digital era.
