Digitalization of Final Project Monitoring: Informatics Study Program Holds SIMONITAMA Socialization

Jimbaran, March 25, 2026 – The Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University continues to be committed to improving the quality of academic services through digital transformation. Located at Room 2.2, FMIPA Building, Udayana University Jimbaran Campus, a socialization session on the use of the SIMONITAMA (Student Final Project Monitoring Information System) application was held from 08:00 - 10:00 WITA.

The event was attended by academic supervisors and student representatives to understand the system workflow designed to optimize the monitoring of Final Project (TA) progress.

Introducing SIMONITAMA

SIMONITAMA is presented as an innovative solution to digitalize supervision records in a transparent and accountable manner. The system was developed by I Made Satria Bimantara, S.Kom., M.Kom., a lecturer in Informatics at FMIPA Udayana University.

The SIMONITAMA application can be officially accessed via: http://72.62.122.209/.

The main objectives of implementing this system are:

  • Supporting On-Time Graduation (KTW): Through an Early Warning System feature to detect supervision issues early.
  • Accreditation LAM-INFOKOM: Providing a digital database aligned with LAM-INFOKOM v2.1 accreditation standards.
  • Data Transparency: Enabling students, lecturers, and management to monitor progress in real-time.

Why is SIMONITAMA Important?

SIMONITAMA is not merely an administrative tool, but a digital ecosystem to support the timely completion of Final Projects. This system enables:

  • Progress Transparency: Students can report supervision achievements periodically.
  • Lecturer Monitoring: Assisting supervisors in monitoring student issues in real-time.
  • Digital Archive: All supervision histories are securely documented and easily accessible at any time.

"This innovation is a concrete step by the study program in supporting the acceleration of students’ study completion by utilizing relevant information technology."

Main Features and Access Rights

During the session, it was explained that SIMONITAMA provides four main integrated access roles:

  1. Students: Submit supervision tasks, fill in progress based on performance indicators, and receive feedback from lecturers.
  2. Lecturers: Validate task submissions, map monitoring aspects, and provide feedback and supervision approval.
  3. Administrator: Manage user data and task monitoring parameters.
  4. Management: Obtain strategic infographics related to student final project completion statistics at the faculty level.

Message from the Head of Study Program

The Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, Dr. I Made Widiartha, S.Si., M.Kom., stated in his remarks that the implementation of SIMONITAMA is a strategic step toward realizing Smart Governance. He hopes this system can create a more productive and measurable supervision ecosystem for all academic members.
